LUNETTA #1

Lunettas are very simple, digital, noisy, quirky electronic circuits. In some way, these aren’t synthesizers because they aren’t designed to synthesize any sounds. There is a great forum about Lunettas circuits at electro-music.com.

Mine is based on Bubzy’s “Spooly Master”. It’s a circuit made from 2 CMOS chips : 4011 NAND gate and 4040 counter/divider. He modified the original circuit to make this more flexible by adding a 4 tap points and a matrix of terminals, each one connected to a different Q output of the 4040. Also, the circuit is sensitive to flesh, moving your hand near it can change the sound!
